Im coming to you guys in the AM of december 31st. Im here to talk about the end of my season as well as my offseason goals. The last show ended in Houston mid October. I placed 9th out of about 25 competitors. I was happy with my placing because I was right behind a few of the best and most decorated fitness models in the industry for it was THE MENS PHYSIQUE show of the YEAR. I realized where I needed to improve and made a plan of attack for next season. My goal is instead of stepping on stage at around a full 175, I would like to be on stage around 178-180 but about 1-2% less bodyfat by the Orlando Europa which is scheduled for april 19-20.

...well well, Christmas gifts actually... ;) Biggest rush for this year is now over. I now have a HOLIDAY! Yes, the word holiday is something I have wanted to hear the whole autumn. My studies are now finishd and most of the group excersises are on Christmasbreak, so I had the opportunity to take a couple of weeks break. Fantastic! I couldn't stay away from my work place for long though, because on the first day of my holiday I rushed to body combat lesson. ;) But this is what I'm going to do for the next couple of weeks, enjoy working out, go to group excercises, work out just when I want and feel like and be outdoors with the dogs.

I’m feeling more inspired than ever! My body is recovering very well and hopefully I’m gonna stay healthy for a while now. Last weekend was spent in Gothenburg because of The Fitness Festival . One of the biggest fitness expos in Scandinavia. I was there coaching girls in the figure classes and off course representing Better Bodies! Watching all of the athletes and just smelling the “ Jan Tana” made me long for the stage in a mad way!! I really wanna do this now! A lot of work, a lot of training, always busy doing something.

We go into the end of year 2012 and I try to sum up the year that has been. A tough year. A year that has changed me as a person and given me a new perspective on life. I have become tougher and stronger now that I am on the way back up. I had to cancel my competition plans this year. I could not focus because of everything that happened around me. The only thing that has kept me going has been training. I use training when I will feel better, when I am sad, when I'm angry, when I'm tired, when I need a break, when I want to be social, when I meet friends.

Contest season is only a memory to me and now it's time to train harder and smarter again. It's funny that just when you think you know how to train and diet suddenly you face the fact that you have so much to learn about how to improve yourself and get better in every way. It happened to me a year ago when I started my first off-season after the contest season and the same thing this year. Actually it's good to know how much you can do better. If you have used all your knowledge and you have done a perfect job, there is nowhere to go.

- The tough gets going! It might be the biggest cliché of them all, but it does not make it less true. I have never been the one to quit on something, stubborn as hell, it has led to a lot of frustration and sometimes tears, but it has also led me to where I am today. Stronger and more confident then I was yesterday. I have taken some "blog and media free" time these past months, and it has done me a world of good. Some time ago my boyfriend and I broke up. We have been together for almost 6 years.

Hi!! It’s been a long time since the last post. Time flies by so fast that it’s hard to keep up.. It’s been so many months since Fitness Expo. It was amazing to meet all these team members of Better Bodies and to have a closer look at the new collection of Better Bodies clothes ;) I got a great amount of motivation to my own training and the upcoming competitions from the Finnish Championships. Another motivation has been the success of Finnish competitors on international stages. Next year, I promise, will be even better than this year ;) Missing this time of the year, European Junior's Championships, Santa Susanna spring 2012, Photo by Yasemin Ourama.

I have been recovering very smoothly from the past competitions. I have gained some weight, however I do think that all sorts of muscle gain for a figure competitor is pure crazyness and unnessessary. I haven't started training hard yet, but soon it will be time to rock with the big weights. I have planned far ahead for the upcoming season and for fall everything is clear. My main goal of course is Olympia. For spring, the Arnold Classic sounds very tempting because everything has gone so well so far.

I trained shoulders at Ahmad Ahmad elite fitness gym this saturday morning. We were there when the gym opened because we should see a bodybuilding competition called "Decembercupen" in Lund afterwards. I started with some heavy shoulder presses. I raise the weights after each set until I can´t do more than 6 repetitions. Then I continued with lateral raises. I do this exercise with absolutely full control to avoid unnecessary injuries. The next exercise were lever seated reverse fly with parallel grip.

As my big pleasure, I´m working as a Editor-In-Chief for brand new magazine fitBODY! It´s aimed to women who workout hard and wants to take care of themselves in all way. It´s about nutrition, training programs / methods, beautiful skin tone, product testing etc. I´m writing my own article in every issue, mostly about my workouts and preparing to next contest season. We are working with a great photographer, so I think that the pics are also so cool – so I´m very proud of our team. And maybe one of the best things is that magazine is also available in App Store – AND also in English!! I hope you find our new magazine interesting! www.
